"In the early days when I was a little naive, I purchased several domains and hosting from a 'leading uk hosting company'. That was my first mistake, the second was giving them my credit card number for annual renewals! The penalties to break away from them were very great, but after 3 years of terrible customer service and down-time problems, I had to consider it as a serious option."
